www.amadorflowerfarm.com A delightful selection of daylilies are available all year from AmadorFlowerFarm! You can shop on their website for over 350 of the most popular varieties. They offer more than 800 daylily varieties at the Flower Farm itself, which is nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, only an hour from Sacramento.
www.customplantings.com They specialize in the finishing touches of a landscape: adding color, planters and cut flower gardens to just the right places.
www.idiggreenacres.com Thanks to Green Acres Nursery & Supply for being a big supporter of our club. They donate many of the plants for our drawings.
www.lakesnursery.com They have the largest selection of Japanese Maples in Northern California and have over 60 varieties of bamboo, including mature groves on the grounds. There are several demonstration gardens so that you can see what many of the plants look like when they are mature. They also have a wonderful Japanese Garden with a 28,000 gallon Koi pond.
www.oldcitycemetery.com Click on the “Gardens” link to see the restoration project our club has been involved in. Restoration of several plots in the area was made possible through a grant from the T.S. and K.D. Glide Foundation and the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club. Brick restoration was completed by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Work Release Program. When restoration began in 1997, the only plants in Hamilton Square were a few roses and trees. Plant donations from Robert Hamm of Valley Perennials, Dr. Marla McClaren, Target, and Sacramento Perennial Plant Club members have turned this area into a perpetually blooming site.
www.bushnellgardens.com Our sincere thanks to Bushnell Gardens Nursery in Granite Bay for being a strong supporter of the Sacramento Perennial Plant Club.
