Letter from Daisy Mah to SPPC

Dear Saul & the P.P.C. Board,

I am honored and overjoyed by your generous donation of $500 that will be used at William Land Park. The check has been forwarded to the city of Sacramento Gifts to Share which maintain records and manages donations earmarked for myuse at the park.

With diminishing budgets, even basics such as gloves, pruning shears, and brooms are no longer provided. Reimbursement for seeds, plants, labels or potting soil would be out of the question. With the donation I can now acquire additional CA native grasses to integrate into existing plantings at both the WPA Rock Garden and Boat Lake Island.

Acquiring a dogwood to be planted along with up to eight others have been on my wish list.

Thank you for making it possible.

Sincerely,
Daisy Mah / Parks Maintenance Worker II
City of Sacramento
